Seeing Mount Fuji on the train from Hiroshima to Tokyo

It was a painfully early morning today. We checked out of the hostel and headed to the train station. Eric and Jordan headed to McDonalds for breakfast and coffee. If there's one thing Jordan will learn on this trip it's how to order a large ice coffee (ice-u cohee. Oki des.).

We quickly found our trains and before we knew it it was time to part ways and say our goodbyes. I know we'll see Eric soon enough but it's always hard parting ways and saying goodbye. Eric, Denise and Dana have a long road ahead of them to get back north. I don't envy them in that respect but at least this time we all have seats.

Jordan and I suddenly found ourselves alone again. At least now we know a lot more about how the trains work thanks to Eric's tutelage. We found our train and ended up back in shin-osaka a familiar haunt. We picked up food and Jordan finally found a conbini coffee that tasted good. It only took a week haha. We sat and ate in the waiting area before getting on the next train to Tokyo. Thankfully the train stops at the station next to our hostel so we'll get there that much quicker.

On the way I got to see Mt Fuji. It was an amazing site but since we were sitting on the wrong side of the train it was difficult to know what everyone was taking pictures of but when it came into view it was quite a site to see especially since its a bright clear day out.

Usually about here I'd insert a picture of what I saw but like a fool I found myself not only without my real camera but unable to take one from my iPod since I was in the middle seat next to a gringo who was so busy snapping pictures I couldn't maneuver past him. Oh well. The mental images will have to suffice. But I will say that it looked just like all the photos you see online and in advertisements. One day I'll have to come back and climb it.
